Fiilden ya da kelimelerden isim yada sıfat  türetme konularında derslerimiz devam ediyor. İngilizcede prefix ( önek ) ve suffix ( son ek ) leri fiil sonuna ekleyerek fiili isim ya da sıfat haline getirebiliyoruz.

Aşağıdaki örnekleri inceleyelim ;

Vocabulary

comfort = comfortable / komforlu ( sıfat )

relax = relaxing / rahatlatıcı ( sıfat )

appoint = disappointed / hayal kırıklığı ( sıfat )

   We can imagine to stay in a comfortable hotel this year. I think it is the most relaxing way to spend our holiday. Do you remember how we felt disappointedwhen we were in Rome last year.

tradition = traditional / geleneksel

health = healthy / sağlıklı

courage / courageous / cesur,  encourage / cesaretlendirmek

   In traditionalcommunities, there are different eating and clothes habits. In the past, people used to eat from fresh vegetables. But today, people eat too much fast food and this is not, of course, healthy.

We have to encourage people to eat more fresh food and vegetables.

appear = disappear / ortadan kaybolmak

repeat = repetitive / tekrarlayan

easy = easily / kolayca

Traditional food from our menus are about to disappear. / Geleneksel yiyecekler menülerimizden kalkmak üzere bugün

Generally, we can't have our diets as repetitive as we used to. /  Genelde, geçmişte yaptığımız gibi tekrar diyetler yapamıyoruz.

Why don't we try to prepare our meals from traditional ingredients ? We can do it easily.

( İsim tamlaması olduğunda such, sıfat olduğunda so geldiğine dikkat edelim. )
