When we arrange someone to do something for us, we use " the causatives ". Birilerine birşeyler yaptırmak istediğimizde.
Sandra had her hair cut yesterday. Sandra dün saçını kestirdi. / ( Berbere yaptırdı.)
Somebody cut it for her.
Causative'ler de action yani eylemden etkilenen hangi zamanda ( tense ) etkileniyorsa o zamanda causative yapılır.
Marline is painting her nails. Bu tümce normal bir continuous tümce. Şimdi bu işi başkasına yaptırmak istediğimizde;
Marline is having her nail painted.
Mutlaka " have " fiilini ve ardından nesneyi kullanıyoruz. Tabi ki ondan sonra da fiil 3. hali ile. ( Verb 3 )
Aynı tümce ( cümle ) yi present s. ile yapalım ;
Marline paints her nails every day. M. her gün tırnaklarını boyar. Şimdi boyatır diyelim ;
Marline has her nail painted every day. Mutlaka have geldi ancak present olduğundan ve 3 . tekil ( he-she ) de kullanıldığından " has " oldu. Verb 3 zaten değişmez.
The roof of Jill’s house was damaged in a storm, so she arranged for a workman to repair it. Yesterday the workman came and did the job.
– Jill had the roof repaired yesterday. This means : Jill didn’t repair the roof herself. / Jill tamir ettirdi. Kendisi yapmadı
She arranged for someone else to do it for her.
Compare: Jill repaired the roof. (she did it herself). Kendisi yaptı.
Jill had the roof repaired. (= She arranged for someone else to do it)
The word order is important. The past participle comes after the object. You can use all the tenses. Cümle sıralaması önemlidir.
The Causative yapıda make ( zorla ), let ( izin ), ask ( sorma, isteme ) , tell ( söyleme )
My mother has me buy bread every morning.. Her gün ekmek aldırır.
My mother made me buy bread yesterday morning. Dün bana aldırdı...
My mother got me to buy bread yesterday morning. Bana aldırdı.
